Remote smooth adjustment of lighting parameters
Each lighting parameter has an action register (2200..2219) and a step-period register (2300..2319). Registers for a parameter unused in the current dimmer mode retain their addresses, but writing an action produces no visible change. For a detailed description, see the WB-LED page.

To configure a press-type action, write a number constructed as follows to the corresponding register:

0000 0000 0000 0000

The upper 4 bits specify the action type:

  • 0 - no action
  • 0b0001 - set the coil register to 0
  • 0b0010 - set the coil register to 1
  • 0b0011 - toggle the coil register 0 <-> 1
  • 0b0100 - set all coil registers to 0 (switch all channels off). Available since firmware 3.3.0
  • 0b1001 - increase the holding register value (by 1 per button event)
  • 0b1010 - decrease the holding register value (by 1 per button event)
  • 0b1011 - decrease/increase the holding register value. Direction changes with each new press.

0000 0000 0000 0000

The lower 12 bits specify the register number, without the base address, to which the action applies. Coil addresses start at zero, so the register number equals its address. Data register addresses start at 2000 (0x07D0), the base address. Subtract 2000 from the holding register address and put the result (0 to 17) in the lower 12 bits. For Switch all channels off, set the lower 12 bits to zero.

Value = (action << 12) | (reg_number - 0x07D0)

Buttons change Modbus register values. Only enable coils (coil 0–10) and data holding registers (2000–2017) can be changed.

Channel mapping by dimmer mode

The table below maps dimmer operating modes to the action configuration registers for safe mode and power-on behaviour.

The intersection of an operating mode and a configuration register identifies the channel type whose action is stored in that register. - means that the configuration register is unused in this operating mode.

Example:

The selected operating mode is 2W+CCT. Configure these actions:

  • on entering safe mode:
    • for channel W1 + W2 (parallel) - do nothing
    • for channel CCT2 strip colour temperature - set value to 85
    • for channel CCT2 strip brightness - switch on and set brightness to 40
  • at power-on:
    • for channel W1 + W2 (parallel) - restore previous state
    • for channel CCT2 strip colour temperature - do nothing
    • for channel CCT2 strip brightness - switch on

Write the following values to the registers:

  • safe-mode behaviour settings:
