T13 frequency converter: motor-control reference
Selected reference for the frequency-converter alternative mentioned in the WB-MDM3 manual. This is a connection and configuration excerpt, not a complete motor-drive installation manual.
Purpose and communication
The third-party T13-750W-12-H and T13-400W-12-H drives connect to a Wiren Board controller over RS-485. The 750 W model uses a 230 V AC supply, has a maximum output current of 3.86 A and an output-frequency range of 1–99 Hz. Its RS-485 interface is not isolated.
Read several registers together: individual-register reads often fail. The drive may send several replies to a write, causing a subsequent read error. Controller channels may briefly appear red without affecting drive control.
RS-485 connection
| Drive | Controller |
|---|---|
| RS485+ | A |
| RS485− | B |
| COM | GND |
If the drive is last on the bus, fit a 120 Ω termination resistor between A and B. Follow the RS-485 wiring guide.
Network control settings
Set these parameters using the drive menu, then press Save/Lock.
| Parameter | Meaning | Value |
|---|---|---|
| −1.0− | Working-frequency source | 3: Modbus RTU |
| −1.1− | Start/stop source | 1: Modbus RTU |
| −0.7− | RS-485 baud rate | 96: 9600 bit/s |
| −0.8− | Serial format | 8N2 |
| −0.9− | Address | An unused address from 1 to 247 |
Controller configuration
In Settings → Configs → Serial device driver configuration, enable the connected port, match communication settings, then select Add devices manually → Motor control (frequency converters) → T13-400W-12-H, T13-750W-12-H. If reverse does not work, use the v.2 template in the same category. Frequency commands must remain within the minimum and maximum configured in the drive menu. Models without a heatsink temperature sensor report zero for temperature.
